Shipping Information
- We currently ship all orders on Monday’s, the cut off for orders is 11:59 PM Sunday to make that weeks shipment.
- We will ship orders within 10 days of your purchase on the future upcoming Monday. Example, order placed on Friday , it will ship the following Monday. Example, order placed on Monday, it will ship the following Monday. Federal holidays will affect this and we will do our best to communicate these changes up front
- No substitutions are allowed and we cannot add to or modify your order once it has been placed.
- Products are perishable and must be refrigerated upon arrival.
- We cannot ship food products to PO or APO Boxes.
- Von Hanson’s Meats Online is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, or orders placed with an incorrect address.
- Once your order has begun to be processed, we cannot cancel or refund your order.
- Shipping speed is UPS ground and we use ice packs and dry ice to ensure freshness and quality.
- If you would like to know the whereabouts of your package once it ships, please contact UPS with your tracking number.
- If your order is delayed, we will not be able to provide a replacement until you receive it and communicate with us regarding the condition of the products upon arrival.
- We do not require a signature for delivery.
- Is this a gift? PLEASE TELL THE RECIPIENT TO EXPECT IT as our products are perishable and share the tracking information! If your recipient refuses the delivery, is not available to accept the delivery or does not answer the door it will be returned to us by UPS and will be no longer consumable. You will need to place and pay for a new order if this occurs.
- If dry ice remains in your cooler after opening, it’s easy to handle properly. Wear thick, insulated gloves on both hands, take the dry ice out of the cooler, and set it outside on the ground to dissipate. Keep dry ice away from children and pets, and never handle without gloves.
- Von Hanson’s Meats Online is required to collect sales tax in many different states. The collection of sales tax is based on where an order is shipped.
